COMMENT :
Cleanliness is not uniform in all rooms, so you are advised to check some rooms before choosing one. The staff is helpful but only if you offer good tips. The Reception tries to be smart and offers only the Higher Priced rooms saying that lower priced rooms are not available, even if they are.
The location is excellent. The views from the Deluxe Rooms with Front Sit out is pleasing to the eye. But the street noise may sometimes get you on your nerves.
The Restaurant has great Andhra food but gets too crowded at Lunch times.
The Worst experience in the Hotel is that in the Bathroom, you can CLEARLY HEAR what the guest in the next room is doing in his Bathroom!!!Disgusting.
Otherwise, overall the Hotel is okay though for this price, you could find a better alternative. After all there is no dearth of Good Hotels in Mysore!!

REVIEW & COMMENT :
Great Location makes it a very popular. Rooms are clean but seems to be congested. Staff is helpful and courteous but the service is very very slow. Prices at the restaurant is reasonable and taste is okay. Some of the rooms have good views.

COMMENT & REVIEW :
A good Hotel for families who care more about saving money than about cleanliness. The hotel has been maintained well but you have to keep reminding the staff about changing the lenin, etc. The restaurant serves delicious food at affordable rates and is very popular. Do check some rooms before confirming. The Hotel's Car Rental service is really good.
Another good thing about the hotel is its excellent location. Walking distance from the Bus stand and about 2km from Railway Staion

COMMENT AND REVIEW:
With similar facilities, Maurya Palace is lot cheaper than other hotels like Park Lane, viceroy situtated on the same road. The service is quick from the cooperative staff and food too quite delicious but slightly priced higher for my comfort.
Being in Downtown, most will be surprised by the good maintainence of the Hotel.
