COMMENT :
Okayish hotel. One of the better hotel in the area. The Management is ready to 'negotiate' the rates, and this can cut both ways, the wrong way in a peak season.
While the exterior looks impressive, the interior leaves you feel somewhat disappointed. Consider this hotel only if you have exhausted options.
the service standard is okay.
The restaurant, however, is good and you can give it a try.

The best staying option in this Temple town. Rooms are clean, spacious, maintained very well and the temple is within Walking distance. Even Sachin Tendulkar, the famous cricketer had stayed here.

Rooms are maintained well. Despite being in a noisy area, the hotel has managed to maintain calmness in all the rooms. The staff are courteous. There is NO restaurant in the Hotel but just outside the hotels there are a good number of quality restaurants.

COMMENT :
Cleanliness is not uniform in all rooms, so you are advised to check some rooms before choosing one. The staff is helpful but only if you offer good tips. The Reception tries to be smart and offers only the Higher Priced rooms saying that lower priced rooms are not available, even if they are.
The location is excellent. The views from the Deluxe Rooms with Front Sit out is pleasing to the eye. But the street noise may sometimes get you on your nerves.
The Restaurant has great Andhra food but gets too crowded at Lunch times.
The Worst experience in the Hotel is that in the Bathroom, you can CLEARLY HEAR what the guest in the next room is doing in his Bathroom!!!Disgusting.
Otherwise, overall the Hotel is okay though for this price, you could find a better alternative. After all there is no dearth of Good Hotels in Mysore!!

The Hotel has been operation since 1968 and its popularity seems to be increasing with each passing year. The reason is clear. Its Big rooms, impeccable service standards and its lawns soothe all your nerves, not to forget its absolutely finger licking kolhapuri food.

One unique food available in the hotel's restaurnat is Rabbit Food!!
Overall, the money spent in this hotel is WELL SPENT.
